Carved Oak Library or Dining Table, Writing Desk, Lion Paws

A magnificently carved oak library or dining table from the 1920's has pull out "refectory" leaves at both ends. Artistically hand sculpted with classical massive lion paw feet and deep moldings show amazing workmanship on this furniture from Scandinavia.

The matched and banded top has been revarnished for durability, the rest has its original finish that is very well preserved. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its patina.

Measurements are 5' 7" long, 37 1/2" wide, 30" tall, legroom is 25" underneath, and with both leaves extended, length is 11 1/2' overall.
