Very well crafted in the 1920's, this Federal or Hepplewhite style dining set includes a round table with three leaves and six chairs. Solid mahogany with delicate genuine satinwood banding, the lustrous finish is in excellent condition on this American made furniture. The table has a center pedestal with brass wheels, when extended, a pair of small legs drop at both ends for stability. 16" wide leaves have matching skirts or aprons.
The table measures 51" round when closed and 29" tall. It extends to 8' 3" with the three 16" leaves in place. The chairs are re-glued, frames are strong and tight and seats are newly upholstered.
Two armchairs measure 24" wide, 22" deep and 39" tall. The seat is 19" high. The four side chairs measure 19" wide, 19" deep and 36" tall, the seats are 19" high.
