Expertly hand crafted in France about 1900 a mirrored armoire is Mahogany with flame burl panels.
The original finish is very well preserved and has been waxed and polished, so only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm antique patina. There are minor mars and shrinkage separations from age, see photos.
Bronze mounts and pineapple finials are original on this historic European furniture.
The armoire has original shaped and beveled mirror doors with a working lock. Inside are two shelves, there are wood supports to add more shelves if desired. This graceful arched wardrobe can be disassembled for moving. Interior woods are oak and curly or birdseye maple, depth inside is 16 1/2." The lower drawer lock does not work, the key can be used as a handle only.
Dimensions are 52" wide at the crown, 20" deep and 7' 7 1/2" tall.
