Victorian Eastlake 1880's Antique Walnut Triple Library Bookcase

A splendid triple bookcase from the late Victorian or Eastlake period is solid walnut with raised burl panels.

American made antique library furniture, the restored finish is in excellent condition. Bronze hardware is original except for one bail which is slightly different, see photos.

Drawers have "pin and cove" dovetail joints, characteristic of the period. Three separate banks of shelves adjust on wooden supports. Upper galleries are authentic, doors have working locks. The base is a separate piece for easier moving.

Measurements are 68" wide, 19" deep and 7' 1/2" tall.
