Chinese Hand Carved Vintage Camphor Wood Linen Trunk, Dowry Chest, Coffee Table

A traditional linen trunk or dowry chest was deeply hand carved with a palace garden scene in China about 50 years ago.

Adding a glass top makes this an interesting coffee table. The renewed finish is in excellent condition on ash hardwood, the interior is lined with genuine aromatic camphor wood, which resist insects like our cedar chests. The engraved brass latch is original on this vintage Asian furniture.

Measurements are 41" long, 21" deep and 20" tall.
