A statue of a fishing boy dates from the 1880's, and is cast in spelter, a pewter like metal alloy. The original bronze finish has contrasting highlights and a pewter base.

American made, this charming unsigned statue is very naturalistic, the barefoot boy concentrates on his bait, a tackle basket and can of worms lie at his feet.

Measurements are 7" diameter and 21" tall.
