A genuine railroad wall telephone from the early 1900's has a scissors or accordion bracket that extends the mouthpiece from the wall. The latest patent date is 1915.
The oak case has a dial that appears to be later, but we do not know if it could be used with a standard line. The headset on this American made antique phone is signed, "Western Electric. The solid oak case has a fine finish.
Size of the wall mount is 13" across and 8" tall.
