An oak four section stacking "lawyer's" bookcase dates from the very early 1900's.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this antique American made library or office furniture. There is no signature because the back panels were replaced, but they certainly look like Globe Wernicke. Coppery metal mounts are original. The top section fits books up to 8" wide and 9 1/2" tall, three lower sections up to 11" tall. The base and top are also separate modules, the base was rebuilt.
Size is 34" wide, 11" deep and 61" tall
