Oak 60 Drawer Antique 1895 File Cabinet, Signed Shannon & Yawman, Rochester NY

A sixty drawer file cabinet from about 1895 is signed by famous maker, "Yawman & Erbe, Rochester, NY" and also "Shannon File Cabinet" in worn stenciling.

Solid quarter sawn oak, the restored deep finish is in excellent condition. Sixty identical drawers have original "butcher block" maple bottoms, sides are rebuilt, replacing long lost spring clip mechanisms. Interior dimensions are 9 1/2" wide, 13" deep and 4" tall. Patinated original brass pulls and label holders have the maker's monogram. Pull out shelves offer work space.

Measurements are 46" wide, 18" deep and 80" tall, this historic filing cabinet does not disassemble.
