Empire Antique 4 Pc. Bedroom Set, Full Size Sleigh Bed, Signed Berkey & Gay

A monumental 4 pc. bedroom set was crafted of matched flame grain mahogany in the Empire manner about 1910 and includes a dramatic "sleigh" bed, nightstand, dresser and mirror and a tall chest. There is a signature by famed maker, "Berkey & Gay."

The restored gleaming finish is in excellent condition on this boldly scaled American made antique furniture with sweeping scrolls and curves. As expected, there are some shrinkage cracks and warps, see photos.

A standard full or double size demonstrator mattress is shown on the bed, wood support cross pieces are included.

The bed measures 59" wide and 95" long. The headboard is 49" tall, the footboard is 37" tall.

The tall chest is 46" wide, 23" deep and 49" tall.

The low dresser is 60" wide, 27" deep and 71" tall with the mirror. The surface is 37" tall.

The nightstand is 18" square and 28" tall.

Large drawers have dovetailed joints and original solid mahogany knobs.
