French Louis XIV Hand Carved Walnut Antique 1900 Full or Double Size Bed

A luxurious French bed from about 1900 was hand carved of walnut in the Louis XIV manner, and fits a standard full or double mattress.

The original finish is very well preserved on this antique furniture from France. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. Modern steel side rails with wood supports are included as shown. The demonstrator mattress and spring unit shown is 14" thick together.

Size is 58" wide, 80" long, the headboard is 61" tall and the footboard is 37" high.
