Victorian Antique Cottage 3 Pc. Bedroom Set, Grain Painted Pine

A country pine 3 pc bedroom set is from the Victorian Cottage period about 1870. Original grain painting is accented with a hand painted castle motif.

The original finish has been touched up and preserved with clear varnish. American made antique furniture, the set includes a bed, dresser or chest with mirror and lift lid "bonnet box" commode or nightstand.

The bed fits a mattress and spring unit up to 54" wide and 72" long, so measurements must be taken for bedding to fit. Overall size is 58" wide and 80" long. The headboard is 48" tall, the foot board is 36" tall.

Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and chamfered bottoms, original knobs are attached with wooden screws.

The dresser or chest has a swivel mirror with original wavy glass. Size is 41" wide, 17" deep and 68" tall, the surface area is 36" tall.

Nightstand measurements are 28" wide, 18" deep and 31" tall.
