Cuckoo Clock, Hand Carved Antique Made in Germany for Sears

A genuine Black Forest cuckoo clock is signed "Made in Germany" for "Sears Roebuck," and dates from the 1920's. The hand carved case has been revarnished and has three dimensional oak leaves and a cuckoo bird.

Professionally cleaned and oiled, the original brass movement runs a day on a winding. One bird pops out of a door to count each quarter hour, a second door opens for the two note "cuckoo" bird to count the hour. Three original pine cone weights are wound by pulling the chains on this superior quality antique clock, which keeps accurate time.

Size is 16" wide, 9" deep and 21" tall without the pendulum or weights.
