A bronze sculpture of a young woman playing a trumpet has wonderful warm original chocolate patina in very fine condition. This European work of art dates from around 1890, signed "Kowalczewski."
Paul Ludwig Kowalczewski was born in Poland in 1865, he studied and worked in Berlin, Germany, where he died in 1910. His works are widely displayed in museums across northern Europe.

Size is 3" diameter at the base, 5" across and 11" tall.
