A pair of spectacular hand wrought iron fireplace andirons from the early 1900's were salvaged from a Milwaukee house, and were said to have been made by famous metal working artist, Cyril Colnik.
As with most of his work, there is no signature, so nothing can be proven. Colnik (1871-1958) did work for many Milwaukee buildings, including the Pabst mansion.
These hand made antique hearth accessories have a connecting chain.
Size of each is 13" wide, 25" deep including the log rests and 28" tall.
