Victorian Eastlake Antique 1885 Hand Carved Walnut Sofa, Recent Upholstery

Hand carved of solid walnut during the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1885, this imposing sofa has been recently upholstered with a tufted back.

The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving a few mars and losses at the edges for a little antique character, see photos. Strong and sturdy, the richly detailed frame has been reglued to serve another generation. The deep seat is soft and comfortable on this American made historic furniture.

Measurements are 6' long, 29" deep, 42" tall and the seat is 17" high.
