Crafted of solid oak about 1890, a six drawer "spool" cabinet was made to sell thread in a general store. The original "J&P Coats insignia is on the back panel, and this cabinet is useful for a collector or as a jewelry chest as well.
The restored finish is in excellent condition preserving just enough wear for a little antique character. Pumpkin knobs are solid brass on this American made counter top furniture. Drawers have "finger" dovetail joints, flanked by delicate "press" carving.
Measurements are 26" wide, 17 1/2" deep and 22 1/2" tall.
