Victorian 1870 Antique Carved Mahogany & Red Velvet Loveseat Settee, Sweden

A gracious Victorian period love seat or settee has a solid mahogany frame from the 1870's, expertly hand carved in Sweden.

The frame is very tight and strong with an excellent hand rubbed satiny finish. A deep seat, relaxed angle (unusual for Victorian furniture), and soft springs are comfortable. Luscious red velvet upholstery with nail head trim is not worn or faded, but there are faint spots on the seat, see photos. This is truly superior quality antique furniture.

Measurements are 66" wide, 34" deep, 39" tall and the seat is 16" high.
