Victorian Antique Hanging Oil Lamp, Hand Painted Floral Glass Shade

An 1880's Victorian oil lamp has a hand painted glass shade with floral motifs that appears original. Embossed and pierced, the intricate frame is deep rosy brass.

The spring loaded double chain mechanism adjusts down to light the oil or kerosene burner and securely lifts back up. American made, this antique light fixture could be electrified if desired.

Measurements are 14" diameter at the shade, the overall length adjusts from 34" to 67" long to hang on a hook in a high ceiling.
