A 12 drawer map chest, drawing file or collector's cabinet from about 1900 is birch and poplar hardwoods.

The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving a few mars and dings for antique character. This is American made library or office furniture. Pegged drawers have interior measurements of 42" wide, 30" deep and 2" tall, hardware is original.

Size is 47" wide, 33" deep, and 45 1/2" tall. For delivery, measurements should be taken so this large cabinet will go where it is intended.
