American Empire 1825 Antique Sofa, Carved Lion Paws & Cornucopia #29281

A lovely American Empire sofa dates from around 1825, and is solid mahogany with hand carved classical lion paws, acanthus leaves and "cornucopia" or horn of plenty motifs. Newly upholstered, round bolster pillows are authentic.

The restored finish is in very fine condition, the frame has been reglued to be strong and sturdy for another generation. The seat is soft and comfortable on this American made antique furniture.

Measurements are 82" long, 35" tall, 26" deep and the seat is 18" high.
