This sofa or settee from the Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period about 1905 has a newly upholstered cushion. Mortise joints are authentic and the sturdy frame is reglued to serve another generation.
Solid quarter sawn oak, the old finish is in very good condition, preserving just enough mars and wear plus shrinkage separations from age for a little antique character. There are losses to the right front corner of this American made antique Craftsman furniture, see photos. The soft cushion has a zipper for easier cleaning.
Measurements are 80" wide, 27" deep, 34" tall and the seat is 16" high.
