Oak Architectural Salvage Antique Giant Craftsman Fireplace Mantel #29468

A very large Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period fireplace mantel was carved of solid oak about 1910 for a Chicago mansion. This architectural salvage has understated carving and deep moldings. There is a small loss at the bottom right of the fire opening, see photos.

The original finish is very well preserved with subtle crazing or crackling from age. American made antique Craftsman furniture, this grandly scaled historic mantel is well proportioned.

Size is 109" wide, 67" tall, 9" deep and the fire opening is 6' wide and 42" tall.
