This small mahogany roll top desk from about 1910 has a "C" shaped roll that glides smoothly and is signed by famous maker, "Globe Wernicke of Cincinnati, Ohio." Two pull out shelves for extra workspace are hinged, opening to secret compartments underneath.
The newly restored very dark finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique library or office furniture. Solid brass feet and pulls are original. Below right is a file compartment.
Measurements are 42" wide, 26" deep, 40 1/2" tall, the desktop is 30" high and the kneehole is 16 1/2" wide and 25" high.
