A traditional "Carlton House" desk from about 1920 is mahogany with exquisite hand painted portraits and flowers. Signed with a bronze medallion, "Raymond Aimone of NYC," this celebrated furniture maker served the luxury trade.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving "antique" distressing and "crackling" on this American made vintage furniture.
The writing surface pulls forward. Tiny drawers and curved doors are authentic. Drawers have solid mahogany sides and bottoms. Curved doors lift up to stationery and pen compartments. The key is a handle only on the center compartment, the lock does not work.
Size is 54" wide, 27" deep, 39 1/2" tall, the writing surface is 31" high and legroom is 25 1/2" underneath.
Shipping rate based on ground floor delivery from a trusted service provider. Most deliveries occur 14-30 business days from payment, some slightly longer, some shorter.
