This grand judge's desk is architectural salvage from a Minnesota court room, and would make an interesting reception stand or kitchen island if fitted with a granite top. Crafted of solid oak about 1890, there are raised panels and shaped and fluted columns.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Three drawers have dovetail joints and original solid brass pulls. There are old graffiti signatures in the center drawer. This historic desk disassembles for easier delivery, but reassembly is somewhat difficult, please contact us for details.
The desk top slopes up from 30 1/2" tall at the front edge to 31 1/2" at the back. Size is 66" wide, 37 1/2" deep and 38" tall.
