Harvest & Sailboats Original Vintage Oil Painting, Samuel Heller #33267

Harvest and sailboats are the subjects of this original oil painting on canvas from about 50 years ago. The heavy brushwork, vivid colors and composition are typical of the artist, Samuel Heller, 1902-1997.

A member of the Pennsylvania Academy, Heller was known for his Expressionist works. We do not see a signature, the St. Louis family that originally purchased this work of art attributed the painting to him.

The framer's label is on the back, the silver leaf frame is richly carved and embossed.

Overall size is 27 1/2" x 34" and 2 1/2" deep.
