Ansonia Dresden Victorian Cobalt Blue Porcelain Antique China Clock #289 #33939

A wonderful Victorian china clock was hand painted with cobalt blue and gold, signed "Dresden Extra" model case with a movement by one of America's finest clockmakers, "Ansonia of NY," dating from about 1895.

The brass movement has been professionally cleaned and oiled and keeps excellent time, counting the hour and striking the half hour. The embossed brass dial has some discoloration from age on this antique clock, see photos. There is a scuff on the backside.

Measurements are 13 1/2" x 12" tall and 5 1/2" deep
