Italian Antique Carved Walnut 4 Pc Bedroom Set King Size Bed, Marble Tops #35625

A splendid four piece bedroom set was hand carved in Italy about 1900 and includes a bed adapted to king size, marble top chest or dresser and mirror plus a pair of nightstands. Raised panels and detailing are artistic.

The restored finish is in excellent condition on this solid walnut palatial antique furniture.

The bed has been expertly adapted to fit a standard modern king size mattress. A demonstrator mattress and spring unit are 18" thick together as shown. Wood supports and feet in photos are included.

Bed measurements are 86" wide, 88" long, the headboard is 73" tall and the footboard is 37" high. Upper crests are removable for delivery, and without them the bed headboard is 44 1/2" tall.

Nightstand and chest marble tops have tiny embedded fossils and have been polished and sealed to resist stains. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and original brass hardware.

The chest has a mirror and working door lock. Size is 45" wide, 25" deep, 89" tall and the marble top is 29 1/2" high.

A true pair of right and left nightstands measure 20" wide, 16" deep and 32 1/2" tall.
