This design of a Victorian period footstool was called a "gout" stool because it cradled painful feet and rocked with a rocking chair. Solid birch, the petit and needlepoint upholstery depicts a bouquet of flowers.
The restored finish is very well preserved on this American made antique furniture from about 1890.
Size is 22" long, 14" wide and 14 1/2" tall.
