Georgian Dining Set, Banded Table, 8 Carved Chairs

The stately elegance of 18th Century Georgian design is reflected in this beautiful dining set, including 8 carved solid mahogany chairs and a table with matched flame mahogany top and lavish banding that extends to 10.' There is no signature, but the table is said to be from famous maker "Hekman," and rests on two solid mahogany pedestals with brass feet. It has a polished top with almost no wear.

The eight solid mahogany chairs include 2 arms, and they are large and comfortable, with neutral upholstered cushions that can be easily recovered. The two armchairs are 26" wide, 25" deep and 41" tall, the eight side chairs measure 22" wide, 25" deep and 41" tall. Seats are 19" tall.

Table dimensions are 46" wide, 30" tall and 6'4" long closed, with both 22" leaves installed, total length is 10.' Both leaves match and fit perfectly. All chairs and the table are completely solid and impeccable in every way.
