French Louis XV Gold Sofa, 1935

An elegant carved sofa in Louis XV or Roccoco style dates from about 1935, and has been newly upholstered in historic fabric. The gold frame is subtly burnished and has numerous touchups over the years, as is typical. Even the back legs are carved on the very solid yet graceful frame, which is subtly curved.

The deep seat and soft but supportive springs make this vintage furniture very comfortable.

Dimensions are 6'9" long, 31" deep, 45" tall and the seat is 21" high.
