Tudor Carved Round Coffee Table, Sunburst Top

A dramatic round coffee table is richly carved in Tudor or Renaissance style, and has a stunning top with a center sunburst design in golden burlwood.

The gleaming finish is excellent on this stately and substantial vintage furniture from the 1940's. Surrounding the pie-shaped matched burl top is a wide band of fine grained oak, the base is birch hardwood with subtle shading. Workmanship is expert, the top "floats" to allow for expansion and contraction.

This is furniture with the look of a country manor house, and measures 42" diameter and 24" tall.
