Brass Antique Apple Butter or Jam Kettle

A large brass kettle was used to simmer apple butter or jam for many hours while hanging over a fire. Solid brass with an engraved signature on the bottom, "American Brass Kettle Manufacturers," there are dents and dings from long use.

About 100 years old, this antique has copper rivets and a wrought iron handle. Size of this country antique is 21" diameter and 12" tall excluding the handle.
