Hand Carved French Antique Small Treasure Chest or Trunk with Lock #31330

Hand carved of beech hardwood in the Renaissance manner, this French treasure chest or small trunk is richly detailed. Dating from the 1890's, embossed iron handles are original and the lock and key still work on this antique furniture.

The original deep finish is very well preserved, waxed and buffed so all that is needed to maintain the patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.

Dimensions are 20" long, 12" deep and 13" tall.
